Regards the Evil Dead..I thought it was going to be rubbish with the cartoon cover...after watching it a girl asked me what I would suggest in the video library at the time (she sid it was for a party and the they wanted something real scary)<<<I pointed to the Evil dead and said don't take any notice of the cartoon cover (she hadn't seen it)..she took it with mixed feelings..

The guy in the shop said a few days later," remember that girl that wanted something scary"..Yes I said.... she hasn't slept for two nights...

I didn't think it was that bad..but there you go...(it was some time ago)

Regards

If she thinks The Evil Dead is scary, don't let her watch the Guinea Pig series. It will kill her.

Its a very long time ago...I think stories that work on the imagination seem to be more scary to me...I'm not a fan of super effects...I guess it depends what effects you and in what way..

I must admit I don't watch many horrors now...I have seen some strange things..not on video..not drink or drug related either...(thats why I'm selective or stupid as some might say..)

I remember my mother saying to me everything is OK as long as you don't take a side...then you become interesting..

I never understood what she meant until I got older..anyway..back to topic.

Regards

The shooting in Aurora, CO gives a whole new twist to the expression 'horror movie'...

Hmmm I definitely couldn't name five mainly because most of the best ones I've seen were Japanese or Korean and I can't remember the names

But sean of the dead would have to be up there

I didn't find Evil Dead scary at all. Watched it as a teenager in 1983.

I think the scariest thing I ever watched (the only thing to give me nightmares) was an episode of the X Files. I can't remember which one it was, but I felt really really uncomfortable after.

Why we need for horror films?
The life itself the horror, otherwise.
