You don't have to outrun the Bear, just the people around you. :p

Supposing I'm not alone and supposing we all run in the same direction and supposing the Bear is not greedy. I wouldn't want my life to depend on so many supposing.

Suppose you were prepared....I could depend on a .44mag HP, for sure it will stop a bear.;)

44 mag hp may or may not stop it with a direct hit. And that direct hit is very questionable. There's a reason people use .50s as bear weapons, there's quite a bit more zoot than even a 44 mag.

Doubtful you would be able to out run a bear if it is really after you. Climbing a tree won't help you either.:p

Easy live in the UK. No Bears.
