Well, now that Goatsie, (or is it Tofu?)'s one hit blunder has gone viral and cults are forming around it, its no surprise that hundreds of amateur comedians are doing a cover version.
Probably the best I've seen so far is a spoof of a cover of the song, here: Somebody That I Used To Know - WOTE Parody! Key of Awesome #55! - YouTube But this more amateurish spoof deserves honorable mention: Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat Kimbra), parody - YouTube but which is your favorite spoof/cover? |

Oddly, I'd only seen/heard the WOTE cover and not the original. I've just now seen the original video and these other two as well. I guess they're okay.
But I'm an old fart and I like oldies such as this one - this is, IMHO, a quite good performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTamaxBjgvU "Midichlorian Rhapsody" by the same performers is also good, but I'm not sure why it has so many more plays than the above. Perhaps Star Wars parodies are just that much more popular. Oh, and for anyone googling it, that G word doesn't have an i in it. You've been forewarned...
