Default Looking for audiophiles in or close to Grayson County, Texas

Hello all.

I am in need of some local connections who can help me audition good audio systems and help me broaden my horizons concerning audio.

I am fairly familiar with audio design despite having no formal education, so I may be a big help to anyone who enjoys modding stuff. I have designed a DC active rail filter for a friend in Australia and some of my knowledge and ideas contributed to the design of an amplifier which sells for about $5000. I am not a firm believer in very expensive stuff, but I am open to discussing whatever thoughts you may have about audio, and I don't mind a little controversy.

Eventually I will complete my first audio amplifier design. After I have it in a proper case, I will want to get impressions from others and hear it in different systems.

So, anyone near?

Also, will you post a thread about your amplifier design?
