Thanks Kees52 for that link. Will be ordering that movie.

Meantime you take care of yourself and and focus on 'today'. Since you will be joining them some day not too far away , no need to be thinking too much about that now. There is work to do today ! Cheer up.

He was very funny ( he was from Naples ) but also a little frightened by his situation ; he was living with a little social aid , and money was never enough . But he was that kind of man that could not even cook an egg ! Or clean the kitchen ...Being fat and short , without teeth, didn't help for his self-esteem !
Oh , Salvatore ! I think that it was the last time I've cried . It was so sad .
We had a good time together , drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.
Selling that Thorens TD 124 for 200 € that he found for 20 € ( also with the SME arm !) and so on...and on. I only have an LP he gave me .
I put on the turntable last autumn : it said that it was recorded exactly 50 years before , in NY ...The big fat Whale . How did he knew that I loved Oscar Peterson?
Beautifull story, how friendships and love can go so deep, then if one died it is so hard to deal with it, but one day it have a place in your hart and sun shines again. I believe in more after death, and maybe it is hidden by nature otherwise if the beauty some story,s tell us about afterlive can couse massive suicides. As you see we are protected.

For Picowallspeaker, your story do me think about mr Bojingles, another beautifull story, so this song is for you and Salvatore, lets keep spirituality high here...

I am busy with work, I do go on, busy with H frames, only it is a very strange feeling if you loose a friend who is there from this youth and it was total 48 years friendships, with sometimes ups and downs as always happens in live, last 4 years I have support them in the battle to recover from the lost of his wife who he never has overcome, and reason of cuicide, so I hope and espect that he is with her, we can not do more it is a hidden world the other side..

But see here I go on with what I did, music amps designing, and sinds short time also the boxes, but this is new for me, sound in link is recorded with mobile so it is not the highest quality, gut the idea behind is important..

Yes, DIY audio has the potential to drown out all sorrows and the music ( if chosen well!) can help uplift the soul !
So get on with your designs and enjoy the remaining time you have left on Mother Earth .......and share some of it with us on diyaudio.com !

Dipole sound radiation is a little bit like life and death
Determining what's good and bad it's done subconsciously by our brain ...
Maybe we can find it better than closed box or vented , just because the back wave doesn't bounce back to the cone , or get tremendous group delay
Till , control of the resonance is done in the room , by the room ...the space beyond...
