Why I am shutting down the TechDIY Store - Page 2

From what I understand, it's 20k and over 200 transactions, not either or. Do you do over 20k in sales a year?

I know I have over 200 transactions for 2011, but no where near 20k received. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I get a 1099 from paypal this month.

Hey Ikoflexer, you could give your products away and then claim back on tax as chariable donations.

I have not used Jackinnj as a supplier, but I can see that he offers a valuable service to our Community.

Are there any suggestions to help Jackinnj keep his little venture working for us?

I too mourn the demise of TechDIY. My most recent purchase happened towards the end of December 2011. I wish it had not been my last one. TechDIY offered some really helpful items. Thanks.

I have had plenty of purchases thru Tech-DIY and would have no issues mailing cash wrapped in paper...

Can you open another PPal account under your spouses' name? (I know this can't work, but you can claim ignorance of the law)

We are wandering too far from the original title and into politics. I am closing it while it gets cleaned up. There will be some collateral damage.

Thread re-opened with most of the OT stuff removed. We do not edit the posts, we only remove the entire posts when there are rules violation within or they contain a quote with a violation.

Could the OP go into business with someone else?
Split his business up somehow - some products are this, some are that?
Offer a discount to people using alternative payment methods?

Not sure how it works in the US but I know a couple of local business share a credit card payment machine to lower the cost...
