Music
After you've lured some chick to sit in front of your speakers, you want to select the music properly.

I had a cat that went to sit upright between the speakers with pointed ears whenever I played Bach. On Wagner she shot away like bitten by a snake. Most other music did not evoke any reaction at all.

I don't want to spoil this thread by being too serious, but I suspect that preference for 'nice' intervals relates to their simple rational frequency ratios which in turn means that any nonlinearity creates frequency components which themselves have mainly simple rational ratios. This means that IMD gets effectively buried. Nothing to do with what we have heard before, just a matter of the properties of integers.
Would an irrational (or even worse, transcendental) ratio sound signficantly worse than a nearby rational ratio? I suspect it might. |

When it comes to music they might. Could turn into a bloody experiment, though.

if you´re talking about other kind of chicks , a good mix of power ballads is a good place to start.
in case of total despair you may even try Mr. Bolton |

Smoked with a seasoning of cayenne pepper, perfect way to spice up your love life with a tasty dish of Cats 'n' Chicken.
