Fully agree.. I liked so much his versions of "Superstition" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb" . among many others...

Even if his music is not your cup of tea, it is nigh impossible to dislike it -- he was just that good.
The old adage "I like all music as long as it's good music!" applies to SRV. Don't be sad that he is gone - be thankful that he made some fantastic recordings and we have them to listen to.

In our main town park, the statue with pride of place is... SRV. I was lucky enough to see him live several times. Recently, Double Trouble backed Oz Noy at one of the local clubs. Fun!
