Berlin 1930, "Menschen am Sonntag". Was mentioned on TCM about 2 years ago in conjunction with some other films written by Billy Wilder (directed by Curt Siodomak). This film has been out of the US market forever. Prints were found in Netherlands and Belgium so it's about 80% restored.
There was a DVD but it was for the European market, this one is for US. Recommended. |

a little disappointed that the price on Amazon was boosted. I lent it out to my son, and he and his wife really enjoyed it. Very spontaneous 80 years later!
