Dying breeds
Yesterday I got a pair of Zigmahornets built by Dave Merrill himself. I paid little enough for these I thought why not "try" a few things with these.......then I got to thinking about Dave (who was a good friend of a friend of mine). Would he approve of me "tampering" with his creation.....I'm still undecided but brings me to my main thought.......
It seems as if the "audio world" loses a lot of class act people way to early. The numbers are staggering when you think about people who have contributed a hand full of amazing products and at their peak.....they pass. I think for now I'll just enjoy Dave's work as he intended it. |
