I know this is kind of out there, but do any of you good folks have any suggestions for finding an honest and reputable rat breeder in Ontario. I would like to get a fancy rat for my daughter and everywhere I look on the web the breeders have shut down or have the pet rescues slanderizing them.
I'm kinda wary of the pet stores not knowing where they get their stock from (back yard breeders or rat mills) and are usually prone to cancers and infection. Or could you recommend a good breeder in Canada. Thank you for your time and info.

Come down here to NYC, go to the IRT subway with a net -- we breed 'em here for sport, not for eatin'.

Rats are such sanitary creatures, they don't even have to stop to urinate. They urinate whenever and wherever they happen to be, sort of like a slug trail but....great pets........eeewwww.
