well .... reasons for this thread are obvious ;

feel free to write anything , except questions how to improve your F5 ;
please don't rant about lazy greenhorns , not willing to read numerous anaconda F5 threads .

hey - you can even write here why you don't have any F5 ( even if you build one )

( and if some lazy greenhorn shows here , asking how to bias bloody thing , I'll shoot him , personally )

I don't have an F5.

I'm still playing with simpler designs... hoping to graduate to F5 one day.

I just bought a pair of 15k:90k input transformers to put in front of a power buffer. MF4?

ps. gilles peterson's stuff on soundcloud is good work moozak.

not good enough

it will give just 7.8db of gain

not worth hassle with iron ;

if you can squeeze more gain ..... then I vote for Iron or Dust

btw - why Musical Fidelity 4 ?

( agree for muzak)

with F4

no need for sissy fancy amps

( don't tell Papa that F5 is so elegant , that it almost hurts )
