Was anyone involved in navigation in the '70s ?

Maxiran, Trisponder. Shoran, Hifix and so on.

oooh!!

Maxiran plus HP85(?) and plotter.

I repaired the ribbon to the printer on one of those, soldering in 20ft seas.

Where is the photo from ? I see a folder with Decca Survey logo ?

Not sure where it was. Maybe in Spain, doing some geophysics in the Gaviota gas field. But not sure in what vessel, I see an american flag in one of the work suits.

Until recently I had a lot of technical documentation of many positioning equipment: Hifix, Pulse/8, Maxiran, Trisponder, Aquafix, etc.. and a couple of boxes with prints from airgun arrays, side-scan sonars, etc... but they got lost in a moving

I remember I had also a (defective) SatNav unit (a briefcase) but someone bought it for a penny ...
