Stuut en Bruin gone for ever

All,

Most of you will not know the place, but some of you may. It is about 35 years ago that I worked there (for a period of 5 years), yesterday was the last day that the doors where open. 'Stuut en Bruin' is gone. Some pictures can be found here:

Mouser, DigiKey etc are great, but there is a price to pay.

Hear Hear.

The boss himself picked each individual resistor out of a box, and what he didn't have he ordered for you.
Easier nowadays, but the taste is not the same.

(plus occasion window shopping, each time i headed for the Chinese supermarket in the Wagenstraat )

The cool thing is, I was yesterday invited to jump in and take up the old job, I had great fun. Like many people I will miss the place, but most of all I will miss the people.
