Vandals pour chlorine into water system in Hudson Oaks | Crime and Safety | News from Fo...
Vandalism or Terrorism? Something seems fishy about this to me. Check out this sentence from the article. Quote:

Something else seems kind of messed up to me too. Only a lousy grand reward offered for somebody who deliberately contaminated the water supply? I would think a much larger reward should be offered for that. I also think State and even Federal police should be on the case. It could have been a practice run for dumping some really bad stuff later either there or somewhere else. Catching whoever did it seems like it should be a very high priority to me.

They turned the city drinking water into a swimming pool. Not dangerous to bathe in, but it might irritate your mucous membranes. Typically when real swimming pool water irritates your eyes or skin, it's because the PH is wrong and not because there is too much chlorine. Anyway it isn't a major health issue unless you actually decide to drink some of it.
Drinking swimming pool water wouldn't kill you, but it would cause you some gastrointestinal distress, because it would disinfect your intestines and all the probiotics residing down there. If it was a terrorist act, they are awfully dumb terrorists because the additional chlorine only further disinfected the system. Quote:

What was it? A bottle of Bleach or a tanker load?
![]() Something very fishy going on. Inside job or rather a cover up. ![]() I worked at a water treatment plant in the UK for over three years. Sounds like someone put the chlorination system in manual mode, either deliberately or by accident. Someone then came up with a cover story with a broken fence.
