See this carving knife that I made much in the same way that you have. A nice add on frill is to include a brass collar for looks. This knife is for carving but the same principal of course applies to cooking knifes.

dangerous little thing
![]() one funny thing I am learning now my new knife isnt really sharp at all cant even cut myself, even if trying hard ofcourse I can make it sharp, if I want to yet, even when not sharp at all, it still cuts so easy its unbelieveable I think what does it is a very smooth and polished blade |
