Founding Father Ben Franklin claimed beer was "God's way of showing us He loves us!"

I'm not sure about the Stone Age or man's atavistic longings, but I have notice that the Canadian audio types (which I clandestinely observed at several of the Vancouver Island Diy Fests) seemed inclined to stop whatever they were doing to worship (often several times an hour during their waking hours). Their primitive religious devotions and ceremonies took place in front of a Sacred Ark, that had a rather uncanny resemblance to the modern ice chest.
Best Regards, TerryO

Its true for craft beer for sure. If it comes with a multimillion dollar ad campaign then no it is not sacred!

Well the line between craft beer and factory beer is pretty fuzzy these days...besides, you only get a good taste of the 1st 6!

Beer is sacred because it makes you feel like you should feel without beer.
:-) Regards, Tom [edit] Actually only highly-hopped, top-fermented IPA's are sacred.... Last edited by ptwining; 8th November 2010 at 12:02 PM. |

Just the sound of it evokes visions of great mirth and hilarity

Totally wrong and almost sacrilegious, Dark bottom fermented Munich style lagers are an endangered species and all endangered species are sacred, you can get an IPA on any street corner pub these days, besides which an IPA is only an IPA when the alcohol exceeds 8% which none do anymore, Hic!
