If I feel up to making it, I have a penchant for a Sazerac.
Sazerac - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ![]() I make mine simply with a Pastis coated glass and rocks, Rye with Pachaud bitters and a twist of lemon. If it has been a tough day (and there are so many)...Bookers BourbonEnthusiast.com • Bourbon Reviews • Booker's ![]() Speaking of that, i need a new bottle of Bookers... |

Some of the best drink I've had comes from the hills of W. (by God) Virginia known locally as "Apple Betty". Tastes just like and is as smooth as apple cider but you wouldn't want to light up a smoke next to it if you know what I mean.
Never have I had something so strong be so easy to drink. Some family recipes in these parts go back generations.Never under estimate the power of the hillbilly "Jug". ....![]() Generally though, I'm an IPA guy. The hoppier the better.

That booker's looks interesting...
I am a big fan of Buffalo Trace right now, followed by Eagle Rare, and then Woodford Reserve (in decending order). All great; you don't realize that it gets better until you move up a notch... Also a big Scotch fan- fav is the Balvenie 21 Yr. port wood.... *D R O O L* "It's not just for breakfast anymore!"

I hope that was before you were driving as drinking a shandy whilst typing a response on diyAudio and driving all at the same time could be a bit dangerous
