Well, tomorrow 20th Jan is crew change day and the long trek back to the UK begins.

A total of 4 flights and 36+ hours travel !!!

Still I get a few weeks at home before rejoining this vessel off Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Phillipines for 5 weeks.

As I said, it's a hard life .. but someones got to do it !!

Yes, passing through around 22/23 Feb.

I hope to spend a day or two on Palawan and maybe a day in Manila on the way back (30 March).
I've never been to the Phillipines before!

It had to happen !!

After almost 2 years in the tropics off India, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippine, I am now somewhere I've never been before.

Come to think of it, not many people have been here.

77 deg 15 min North
05 deg 03 min West

Off the north-east coast of Greenland for the next month or so.

We will be crew-changing in Svalbard so "hello" to anyone in Longyearbyen!
