Well, let's see. It's a GM vehicle so technically it's already American. And there are plenty of companies out there who up-armor vehicles, I've rode in several of them.
The Kombat costs twice as much as a Hummer, lacks some features (drivetrain, PTO, on-the-fly tire inflation/deflation, suspension travel, off-road capability, etc.) It's not a military vehicle, it's a tarted up executive armored car designed to somewhat poorly blend in with regular vehicles. Pointless really, since blending in is part of security. All it does is say "I think I'm rich and important!",
