I can't wait for 2012, so the world can end, sunspots will eat the Earth and we'll have good propagation again on the higher bands...

I first got my ham license at the last solar peak in '01. Talked to Scotland and Greenland via F2 on 6m...that hasn't happened since

I flirted with it in 1982.

Then the hams were the rednecks and the CB'ers were the fun group, so I was the first one in the VE4-office to cancel his license less than 6 weeks after getting it

There are still rednecks, just avoid those frequencies/repeaters and it's all good, though
