Who follows it? Any thoughts so far?

Being a 'moon shot' brat (my father was with the Saturn 5 NASA group at Marshall SFC) I was raised dead-center of the SEC; Huntsville, Alabama. At an early age I learned in those parts one has to choose sides: Crimson Tide or Auburn - no middle ground. Moved there in 1963 8 yrs old. In '64 The Bear and Joe Namath won it all! The next season it was The Snake (Kenny Stabler) and a repeat Championship year: I've bleed Crimson Tide every since !!!

This year, having lived in Longhorn country longer than anywhere else, I've got a special wish for Santa. ATide and Longhorn final! The only team I know for fact that the Bear never beat is Texas; and I rarely mention the year Texas cost Bama the title.

Any thoughts so far? Have to have faith in new generation.
