Earlier this evening I received an email from a college dorm-mate re the 40th anniversary of Woodstock -- we were the 2 guys who didn't go from our pack of suite-mates. He worked at a Ford plant in MI 7 days a week, and I was in a die-stamping plant in OH 6 days a week. Many friends went.
Listening to Mark Simone on WABC in NYC this evening was just great. He interviewed Richie Havens right out of the gate. So we just hear this one comment on another NY radio station which was "le mot juste" for the moment "Rain is God's way of washing hippies". |
