Just read a message from Jim and for me this case is now closed. A package has been sent to me and a great email received. I hope JIM does not get angry but I am going to post his responce here in quotes as it has reminded me of the old triode I knew some time ago. Things are looking better indeed. Thanks JIM for your reply.

I am sorry for all this trouble. I see Chad didnt get to your last message. I pay him to answer emails with tech issues and have just sent him a message about this. Joe takes care of the day to day stuff and Im sure he and Chad both thought the other had taken care of it. I saw joe had sent the last email, I forwarded, and the attchments were listed. Ill resend from office. Dont know what happened with the initial problems but can only say, the transformer company has really cut back their workforce, and between the long vactions, and delays, they sometimes are painfully slow. We cant help that, and I assume you were caught up in that somehow. Matt went back to school, because he wanted to make more money. He was worth more than I could afford to pay. Chad was from rural Indiana and didnt like the big city. His ex-band was doing well and asked him to rejoin. I told him to go for it, and retained his expertise for answering people with tech questions. Joe has been here since 2005. I try to keep on top of emails and reminded him to send you the diagrams. I saw he did and didnt think twice till I saw you last Email. Thank You for your purchace and hope we can continue to do business. This is not the norm here. If you need anything in the future please drop us a line. You should hear from Chad and Joe soon. Jim
Again not trying to be a *** here with posting this email, just showing everyone what good customer service should look like. No nasty tone, a apology and some explaination. I am happy.

you and me both, I think this is the first time I have dealt with Jim. Might have to make Jim my new Matt

Just want to say thanks to everyone for responding and reading this, please also understand this is my isolated incident and for the most part I have always been very pleased with Triode. Glad things are back to normal, some more private conversation will take place between us but this is now closed, they did the right thing.

Thumbs up It pays to give people a chance!

Hi SA-12,
This worked out very well for all concerned, it restores my faith in this industry some. Jim posted a more than reasonable response and I think it does both him and Triode Electronics credit. Sounds like they are understaffed for the short term though.

I have sent many people to "The Tubestore" and would actually prefer them for your tube needs. I know for sure they keep fresh stock. In short, I can't imagine you doing better. Tubes should be shipped as few times as possible, so if you can pick them up, you are ahead of the game there. Shipping always risks some cathode damage (coating may flake off a bit) or even grid alignment issues if the package gets hit hard enough.

Right now I am really trying to get my basement and service area redesigned, so don't expect anything that even looks like work can be performed. I'd be happy to have you by sometime, and Counterpoint stuff is welcome here.

So, in closing I'd like to congratulate Triode Electronics for dealing properly with you. Also, you have shown patience and restraint. That shows your good character in trying times.

-Chris

If they now only could sort out the ebay-shop, I have tried contacting them 4-5 times, with no reply.
And trying to buy 4 small tubes, they want more than $ 100 in shipping !!!

WOW!

We're far more expensive than USPS and none of my boxes to you cost that much

Cheers!
