I may be pushing the censorship limits but.... That hemotona
that you refered to can also involve some swelling. When you are in the grocery store have you noticed how large a cantilope is? Need I say more? Took about 2 weeks for all my swelling to go down but in my case I had put it off for years so this made the repair a little harder. ( definatly no pun intended ) |

Woody, in what sense did it become worse suddenly when you woke up?
I realise that it can become strangulated but I wouldn't expect the size of it to become bigger overnight. Mine for example is barely visible and most of the time its not swollen. |

went through this about 20 years ago - you won't be playing basketball for the first couple of weeks... & no heavy lifting for a few weeks either... apparently sugical techniques for this have improved since - my was sown up, they use some sort of net now.. enjoy the nurses & opiates while you can, make sure you go to the bathroom before surgery, I woke up with a full bladder & couldn't empty it for ages
no lasting side effects though...
