PC Games forLittle Kids

Does anyone know of a source of computer games for little kids.
Most of the ones that I have found for my grandchildren has one or more of the following problems.
a) Require reading skills!
b) Require an adult to explain the game to the child.
c) Have a very limited free period.
The only really good game that I have found, is an old MS Windows Pin-ball game.

I put MAME (Multi Arcade Machine Emulator) on a laptop I have and have been able to play Galaga, Donkey Kong Jr., Centipede and some other old games using the code from the original ROMs. I found a Pacman or Ms. Pacman game (can't remember which one) on a CD ROM, too, which I have put on various computers before.

Thanks, I'll try MANE. We did some web searches and all the games we found either require lots of adult help or have other hyper-links to close to the game and the kid clicks those links and the game stops.

Now all I have to do is, figure out how MANE works. I downloaded what I thought was the program, but all it has is a bunch of files and libraries. Nothing that looks like a program.

Hi,

I have a four year old interested in PC games. I found some educational games at a toy store. They had several to choose between and the cost was not similar to normal games like the newest version of most popular games.

I have to help her out starting the game and choosing which part of the game to play. Then she can play for ten minutes and up to as long as her patients last. Never longer than an hour.

Other options here in Norway is an internet site connected to the national television company with games on the same themes as on children´s television. I don´t know if that exists where you live.
