I suggest you read some of his stuff from the 1950s.
The guy invented the concept of satellite communications. An incredible mind.

I did read a lot of his stuff. Can't say he impressed me with all that extra terrestrial stuff, though some of his work I liked. Someone in high places must have loved him though, to honour him with a knighthood despite controversy following him about.
