LTSpice.
Free and nice. Works great under VMWare Fusion on Mac OS X - W98. XP was fine too. I would bet that 2k is best. I'm gonna use that from now on. ;-) Candidate v1 VMWare Fusion implemented Unity for 2k (FINALLY!!!!!).
