Default Bulb question

I am considering purchasing a plain 120W UHP bulb (no casing or carriage) at a considerably less rate than buying directly from the manufacturer for my projector. My projector type is a Boxlight MP-93i and the current working bulb is exactly the same as listed above. The only information about the bulb and is it's exact measurments externally and internally from what I can measure without removing it from the carriage. The manufacture location appears to be the same (Belgium) for both my bulb and the one I'm considering buying. I have two questions:

1.) If everything appears to match with size and voltage is there anything else I need to be aware of that could make this a bad purchase? (No refunds of course but it is certified new)

2.) My projector has a timer for the bulb which warns me everytime I start it up since the one in place is almost done. If I use the current carriage or caddy will it reset the timer or is it possible that there is a chip in the caddy that can't be seen that needs to be reset? (The timer message says that resetting the bulb will make the message disappear after replacing the bulb.)

Thanks

Default update to this

I have spoke with the reseller of the bulb and found that it is the accurate bulb for my projector. My second question does still apply if someone could help me I would appreciate it.

Normaly on commercal projectors there is a way to reset the timer though the menu or by pressing two buttons together try to find the manual online for your projector.
