Default Batwing Reflector

I just bought this reflector mogul combo for $35:

does anyone have any comments on how well it should work.

My bulb is pretty much the same as a ushio sd400. It is made by blueline. Its 400 Watts and 5500K.

Default try it, but don't hold your breath!

Most projectors use a more precise reflector, but you could try it.

See if you get even illumination. Look for a lot of light not getting into the lens. That is why we use spherical reflectors and fresnels: To get as much light as possible into the lens.
