Default reflectors that will fit the ushio conversion lamp?

I'm stuck on what to do about reflecting or condensing my ushio conversion lamp.

the more simpler than the condensor is to find some reflector that fits the center of lamp, right?

any soup laddles i can find in the local stores?

who here that is using the ushio lamp can tell me what they are using?

thanks

(i kinda want to build the simple, very long striaght shooter box enclosure as opposed to the vertical box MKIII that uses a 45 degree mirror.) but it that actually easier to build than a straight shooter?)

any local stores would have a condensor lense?

Lumenlab is about to start selling a reflector made specifically for the Ushio conversion bulb (T15 style). It's a spherical surface reflector made from pyrex and is dichroic coated to pass the heat. It's meant to be used with a 220mm rear fresnel. Estimated price is 15 dollars, should be available in January, and will put any "soup laddle" to shame. Diybuildergroup is supposed to be up and running on January 1 and may also have a reflector in their store.

yeah, grotke just told us how the spherical reflector from DIY is too small for the ushio, so the 250 W metal halide DIY uses alot is smaller than the ushio?

I think you're confusing diyprojectorcompany with diybuildergroup. Anyways, you have the Ushio conversion bulb. Lumenlab will be selling a reflector that is made for this bulb. Give it a couple of weeks, or if you need something right now, buy a quiche mold like Guy did.
