There is an interesting threadhere about using a flourex bulb and fixture in a PJ. Thought everyone might find this interesting.
My only concern is the color. If I were to go this route, could I use the monitor's color correction to bring it back down in the 5000's? Edit: I searched (ya, I know, I should have done that first) and saw that this has been attempted before. The biggest issue seems to be the "point source" issue, but if the bulb is 1000w equivlent, does this really remain an issue? Even if extra light is not going through the fresnel, isn't there so much light that it won't matter? |
