correct. I assume this means R1 = 2 x the depth.

Nope the R1 is roughly where your finger was lol, the focal was half that so the parallel focal would be in the reflector which is normal in most cases.

Unless you can get your arc level to the top of that reflector that reflectors R1 is too short for your bulb. Thats your problem.

This explains everything, i was hoping I would not have to wait another 4 weeks for something to come from america.. but dang naggit cledus looks like im'a haf to.
