Default Ballast Help

turned on my ballast and i heard a humming for a second but nohting happened so i tried tighting conenctions and turning it back on and nothing... i heard the humming the first time i tried but i didnt hear it when i turned it back on 2 times after... does this mean my ballast is broken or the lamp?

Hmmm sounds like either a dead bulb or ballast to me, the Ice Cap electronic has the ignitor built in. Id say its more then likley the bulb.

Are you sure you have the wires around the right way?

how can you wire it wrong... green on green black on black... what do you mean wires around the right way
