i got a ballast for a regular metal halide bulb of 400 watts ...it has a mongul base ..i was wondering if i could use that ballast for a $400 watt double ended metal halide by just switching the plug from mongul to the double ended
thanks for any help |

no you cant do that. only an electronic ballast can do so
