Question Need help with BenQ FP531 cycling

I finally found this monitor and i got it for a good price but with an issue.

It cycles on and off

Sometimes it will stay on for 30 mins, sometimes only 30 seconds.

I am thinking it's the power supply but any help would be much appreciated.

Mines "freezes", ie: the front buttons doesn't respond, eventually the BENQ image became corrupted. When it powers on, only the backlight turns on and nothing is shown on the screen.
That was a year ago. I throw it away expect the AU Optronics LCD and CCFL
