Hi, I just bought a Proxima Ovation+ 920 on eBay. It works with the video-in connection to my video player (VHS). But as soon as it is connected to my computer through a VGA cable from the computer (primary monitor is connected already. This cable is from the port for a secondary monitor. The graphic card is ATI Radeon 9550), it hangs (for example, the startup screen hangs) and no keys, even the power key, works.
If the input source option is set to video, a video source is played and then I connect the VGA cable to it, it continues to display the video source but the keys don't work. However, if I disconnect the VGA cable then the keys work again. How can I fix this problem? PS I posted this just before and couldn't find it. So I post it again. |

when a computer is connected thru the vga cable you MUST turn the proxima panel on FIRST then boot up your computer so it recognizes the panel. Once the panel is recognized by the puter , go into the menu and select " computer" from the "input source".
