How clear is the text at resolutions of 1024x768-1600*1200. I am really trying to keep my projector size down, and want to play xbox 360 and computer games on it. I would also like to be able to read ocassionally from it at higher resolutions. Is this at all possible? Thanks alot

are those liliputs comind down in price?
and which model is good for DIY ? i think i saw different ones, like one is a touchscreen or something? sounds like that would have more driver boards stuff to be in the way. |

from what I have read the lilliput is very easy to break down. I am thinking of getting the 8.4" hami tho because it has more lines of resolution than the lilliput, and by my calculations a 16:9 movie should use the same exact amount of pixels as the lilliput... so the hami it is for me "

jealous?
he should be pissed. unless he's really loaded. i have a cousin in law who is really loaded and everything to him comes down to what saves more time? In fact, he purposely spends tons more money on things like over-paying employees so he can trust them more which saves him time and hassle. the 7,000 dollar choice saves alot of time and hassle if you got the cash. |

agreed, however I unfortunetally dont know anyone who has loads of cash
. The truth of the matter is I am jealous that my buddy could buy the tv, but I wont spend that kinda dough on a tv ever, unless I am making like an extra 20,000 a month or something, like I said never.

has anyone gotten the lilliput to display 800x480, i.e. in OSD it says resolution is 800x480 not 640x480 or 800x600. If so, how did you make it happend, I find this native resolution thing to be extremely difficult since there is no manual way to set the resolution in the OSD.

you need a program like powerstrip to set the custom reso, if you have nvidia you can also download coolbits and do it driver level without an extra program

well i actually don't have a lilliput, i have an innovatek and powerstrip and nvidia tools don't work.
so far I have two clear images, 800x600 and 800x480(with adjusted timings), but the lcd is converting the 800x480 to 800x600. So it's squished with black bars on the top and bottom. if I adjust the timings, the lcd will skip over to 640x480. it just refuses to do 800x480. |

the inovatek does reso's all the way up to 1600x1200 doesnt it? How is the image at higher reso's? Also, do you play any games, and lag? I was thinking of this screen as well because of the higher res's
