Cool Disassembling the Daewoo L510B1 15" LCD

I just tore down a daewoo l510b1 and thought it might help someone here I got it from ebay with an almost completly dead backlight cathode, total price - $26.50 shipped

Monitor Type Flat Panel LCD TFT (Active Matrix)
Size 15"
Contrast Ratio 350:1
Max. Resolution 1024 x 768
Brightness 250 cd/m
Dot Pitch 0.3 mm
Color Depth 24-bit (16.7M Colors)

Start by removing the two phillips head screws holding the base to the monitor

next remove 1 screw to show the bases mounting bracket
remove bracket and case screws

now the plastic cover just unsnaps

remove the screws - remember to remove the monitor cable screws

unclip these to remove metal shielding

I also have the Daewoo Service Manual if anyone would like it or has a place to host it.

hey i have that same monitor and it is broken. I was wondering if i could buy a part(s) off of you if your not using the monitor, or if you knew where i could get replacement parts

Default daewoo L510b1

I just brought a used daewoo L510B1 and it goes in and out would appreciste some feed-back from you on replacing backlight ....I understand that my sytoms does not call for replacin the inverter .........help me olease and to I'm interested in the service manual.....thx for being there
