Default SmartView 3600 V2 question

Hi.
Possibly your problem is solved already - considered your posting is from past september. Unfortunately I don't have a spare power adapter either, but in a few days I will have a complete set of the very same smartview panel and, if you still need information, I probably can give you some, then.
As for the time being, I have some questions to you as the only owner of this piece I could find on the web:
How do you rate this panel and can you give me some more details since I purchased it "blind", only knowing it's doing the job. What is the resolution, colors and contrast? Does it do 800 x 600 or even more? Someone compared it to a nview z350 which is actually a 1024 x 768?
Thanks in advance for any information.

I think that that panel is 640x480 at 1.4M colors. I would check the ebay ads there, (there seem to be many) and consider the most conservative description the most accurate.

Thanks a lot. From what I read here it's not the worst panel and I'm looking forward to use it. What about the 800 x 600 res? Couldn't get this working on my Ovation 814. Does it work on the SmartView? And is it an improvement anyway?
