help with lcd repair

Hey guys, I got a broken lcd lying around and not sure whats wrong with it. it powers on fine but all i get is a white blank screen. anyone know how i can fix this?

YA VERY CAREFULY!!!!

only joking the cabling and connection would be the first thing i would check..if they are o.k i would open and check for water damages...then i would check for cracks or chips on the electronics board.....and if all that is fine then somehow the board might have a faulty component!!
