flex cable extension
sorry about the newb question but hey, can't learn without asking. anyway i have a compaq tft5000 with ffc troubles. i believe that it has 16 traces, maybe 20. i was wondering how i determine the size of cable i need. is it the distance between each trace? and what do i measure it in (mm)? i will open the monitor back up and take a look at the ffc again later on tonight. I might take a picture or two also.
