Default 17" LAPTOP LCD to PC FS glass cockpit...

I would like to convert my mostly dead laptop's 17" LCD screen to a regular LCD PC's screen and add it to my Flight Simulator glass cockpit.
But i have not idea how to do it, please send me ideas,

Thanks,

Gerardo.

Hi,
There is software available that will network your laptop and your Flight sim will see it as an extra screen. It works by wireless or wired ethernet.

I have used the demo before but cannot find the name of it right now. I'll repost if I can find it. The demo worked really well.

It is similar to this I think but this is only for mac: http://creativebits.org/add_an_extra...screenrecycler

Hopefully I can find the right one later,
Regards,
Martin.

Aaaaaah! Found it!

You can download a small demo and see if it is suitable:

Good luck,

Default Thanks Martin

Thank you Martin, but what i need is to convert the LCD screen wich I will remove frommy laptop, in a regular LCD monitor like others I eady have. I gues that wire and VGA connector should be the solution. Identify and weld procedure!!!

check that out. You send them your laptop screen, they write a bios for it, load it up onto their boards and thats it. I tried to inquire about how much it would cost, and turn-around time, but after about 3 emails back and forth they kinda got snoody with me and never answered back. But the product looks awesome!

P.S. - also look at their MP4 players, media server the size of an IPod for under $100!!
