Hi, my name is kinghong and i have a problem...
i seem to be overly confident in DIY project but cannot seem to complete it or run into walls...
hence forums like these are amazing resource for me... my recent projects is to take a very nice headphone from Sennheiser such as their 555 and was actually thinking of making holes in it and crazygluing some mic to convert it to a headset... why? 1) i like to do some casual gaming which requires ventrilo/TS and i like to hear nice sounds while gaming and talking... 2) i like to close out the rest of the world a bit here and there, hence i was really looking for a "better" circumaural headset... got to the Sennheiser site, bought the HMD280 and it came with the boom mic on it... saves me from buying crazyglue and messing up a nice headset eh? well, ran into a problem in that it is not terminated... LOL so, waiting on instructions how to solder a 1/8" jack on it... well, long intro... but it seems to be the story of my life when it comes to electronics and audio gears... hoping i can learn a lot from this forum... and eventually be able to contribute as well... thanks y'all... |
