Default Hello

Hello everyone,
my name's Titian and I am living in central Switzerland just near Luzern and Zug.

I'm a great lover of classical music and I am often in concert halls (nearly 100 times a year) for listening to concerts and rehearsals.
At home I installed my "concert hall" based on Nestorovic Labs speakers and amplifiers. All the rest of the equipments are also factory made units since I'm awful in handwork.
So now you are wondering why does a person like me (not really a Hifi-freak neither a talented DIY-fan) is doing in this forum.
Well I have a son (8 and a half years old) who has a great talent in electronics. He already did small projects like UKW-radios in a few hours and wants to finally have a real challenge (of course I'll just be sometimes there to control the project steps and to make him organized). I thought of a whole Hifi-system starting with a preamp.
So I'll be here mainly for getting ideas of projects for him.
I must admit it is a quite difficult situation for us...

100 days a year? I bet it's nearly impossible for you to listen to your hifi.

Your son is a lucky kid.

Wrong.
Practically every day till about 1:00, sometimes 2:00 am.
Often also after a concert for tuning my system.
