From a new member, relatively well versed in audio, but not in forums........
I would have loved to use the handle that the Dutch audio community knows me by, which is "KT88", but that one was used already (DUH!). Next best would be Maggie, since I love Magnepans, but alas, also taken. So, MG1 Improved it'll be, because that's my current speaker (4 of them, actually). Driven by homebrew tube amps, PP KT88 trioded with very special OPTs, I'm able to drive 2 MGs per channel. Yup. ;-) Well, I guess I'll have some catching up to do, since this forum is *huge*. The nice thing about being a registered user is that one can actually *see* the attached pictures and schematics Hopefully, one day, when I'm a big boy and know as much as you all seem to do, I'm able to post something useful. Until that time, I'll just lurk |
