Default Hi Folks

hi,
New to this group. Live in North Carolina, originally from Colorado.
I have enjoyed building speakers;started with kits, then on to public designs, and now trying to reach the learning curve to design from ground up.
I'm intrigued with diy amps, other mods, etc. (a complete novice), and feel that starting slowly is the best.
I have decided to tinker with a SI amp. Sounds like it would get me looking on the insides, and quite possibly provide a very satisfying result.
That, I suppose is what brought me to this forum.
I look forward to researching the posts, and utilizing the wisdom from this group. Some day , maybe even be able to share experiences.
Thanks,
Brew

Smile New on the forum

Hello,
i am also new here, so i want to introduce my self here.
excuse me for my terrible English.
My name is Stefan, i live in netherland, friesland , i'm 25 years old.
working with electronics is a BIG hobby for me.
I have build many things like speakers,amplifiers, generators,power-supply's etc,etc.
at this moment i am busy with a friend tweaking my cd players up to a higher level.
computers and photography are also my hobby.
the thing that brought me here was my new tweak project, an old “nad 501” cd player with a beautiful swing arm laser.
i think and hope to learn a lot from other people on the forum.
