A friend of mine got me into this high end audio stuff.
Now that i have made my first equipment purchase, I need a place to answer all my stupid questions.
For my real job, I work for a big defense contractor that builds weapons of mass destruction.
So you see I need an outlet to rechannel my energy to a positive outlet.
So I like to crank up my reciever and put in a good DVD and really experience the total SOUND.
Some of my fave movies----
jurrasic park
starwars
monsters inc
black hawk down
That is my short list -- there are many more
Anyhow ---- Glad to be here
PS: I am hunting a owners manual for a Denon AVR-3600(CHEAP)
maybe someone out there has a copy on the web or sumthin.

Dude, I can recite the entire "Maha" routine from memory ("Three Little Pirates").

I can't hear the words, "Niagara Falls" without immediately saying, "Sloooooooowly I turn..."

I know all the words to "Voices of Spring" ("Microphonies").

And I invented the Three Stooges Wine Rating System.

The boys were pure genius.
