Hiya from Toronto.

I'm sleep-depraived, and always wanting to make things work so well that they break.

I work with a lot of audio, help friends with recording studios (lots of experience here). Have more of an electromechanical brain, but still love to dabble in electronics (although at a very beginner level).

My special ability is that I used to calibrate laserdisc players (for a better picture than spec) by listening to the noise the laser-head makes.

Just like to tweak gear to get the best out of it. Seem to find problems or bad design with everything I buy, and have to fix it.

Definitely Speakerholic, Ampholic, most any gearholic. ElectronicHolic.

"Whatever" is peace-of-mind.

Never Happens...

I spend all my time messing with gear, but never any time actually using it (well... much).
