Hi All,
I've been perusing the diy audio forums for a year or so now, and only really made the effort to activate my account now. Very lazy. My efforts within this realm are: Modified Marantz CD63 (much better than stock). Discrete headphone amplifier to power grado headphones. My aspirations are to then design and build an LR active crossover, a sensible preamp with relays to route the incoming signals appropriately, then onwards one day to replace my very old amplifier (which my father modded back in the 70s interestingly) and mission speakers with my own designs. The designs are progressing well, but the work is occurring at a leisurely pace. So, hello to you all! Cheers, Phil |

Thanks guys!
Well, thankfully, nothing has taken 3 years (although the CDP is an ongoing thing), but I keep getting distracted. The active crossover was going to be the first to work on, but have since been off thinking about preamps and naim style PSUs and so on. Need to focus more I guess, but having fun in the process, so why worry? Cheers, Phil |
